Pick Your Own Tulips

PRE-SEASON TULIP PICKING:

This weekend (4/18 and 4/19) marks the beginning of Tulip Season at Ward’s Berry Farm. About 10% of the tulips will be in bloom this weekend, with thousands in color-bud stage, which means that you can tell what color the tulips will be, but they are not quite open. This is the best time to pick for the longest-lasting bouquet! There are also several rows with are showing lots of color and are gorgeous right now.

There will be no tickets required this weekend- just come to the farm and purchase as many jars for picking as you would like as well as your hayride ticket to the field!

Our pick-your-own tulip event is more than just a chance to pick tulips; we invite you to stroll through the tulip fields to take in the exquisite scenery and capture beautiful photos! In addition to the picking area, we have a special photo garden within the tulip patch featuring dense patches of blooming daffodils and tulips. There are benches and other props you can use to capture perfect photos. Each ticket includes a hayride to and from the tulip patch, where you have access to the pick-your-own area and the photo garden.
